Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation

Protect. Advocate. Legislate.

The Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation is excited to hold our 17th annual Open Your Heart gala on March 1, 2020 at Lucas Park Grille in downtown St. Louis, from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm (complimentary valet parking).  The gala theme is "The Dogfather", a takeoff on the iconic movie with a similar name.  This theme highlights our focus on the dogs and our efforts to improve their welfare and to end puppy mill cruelty.

We promise to deliver an offer you can't refuse - helping the animals while enjoying wine and cocktails, fine Italian cuisine and desserts, and our spirited silent and live auctions!

Open Your Heart  represents a significant source of funding for our advocacy work both at the state and federal level. The Alliance has had great success this year in closing down several horrendous puppy mills. We have also accomplished much at the federal level by successfully urging Congress to take action towards ending puppy mill cruelty. Over the past three decades, your support has enabled the Alliance to achieve numerous legislative successes for the animals in Missouri.

In fact as a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to sustain our mission of protecting, defending, and enacting humane legislation for our animals.  If you have reached this page, it's because you too are passionate about animals and the treatment they receive at human hands.  And you understand that to effect lasting change for all creatures, the issues need to be tackled at their root source.

We hope you'll join us at our premier fundraiser, which is a great time to re-connect with old friends, make new ones, catch up with fellow animal welfare advocates, bid on awesome prizes, enjoy delicious food and learn about the state of Missouri's animal laws and what's going down in 2020.

If you can't make our gala but would like to donate a gift, you can easily do so via our Amazon Wish List ! Be sure to select "Missouri Alliance for Animal Legislation" in the SHIPPING ADDRESS area.
