Missouri Puppy Mill Problem

The Alliance was originally founded primarily due to the puppy mill problem that exists in Missouri. One of our first victories for the animals was the passage of the Animal Care Facilities Act which required commercial dog and cat breeders to be licensed, inspected and regulated by the state. We have never stopped working to improve the plight of dogs confined in puppy mills and these efforts continue to this day. Read More >>
